The name ANGKAHN breathes from angkan — a Filipino word for family, tribe, clan.
We chose it because we believe belonging is not only something you find in others. It is something you can return to in yourself. You are not just a member of the families around you. You belong to yourself too. A clan of one, whole and worthy of that same loyalty, that same warmth, that same coming-home feeling you give to the people you love.
Christian Santiago, a Filipino born in the era when the lessons of the past were at threshold with the early days of digital connection. ANGKAHN Studio is his answer to a world that needed a quieter place to land.
